We figured we’d save so much money by making it ourselves but we need a REAL blender. We have five children, we drink so much milk! This would be amazing!

Probably smoothies – my juice bar rescue commercial blender is starting to give up the ghost 🙁 it overheats and shuts off and there is no warranty! Oh no! I’ve been trying to figure out how a new awesome blender will come into our lives.

I also use it to make oat flour, nut butters, waffle mix (so easy to make egg and banana waffles – blend and pou into the waffle maker!) and gazpacho.

But you didn’t ask for a novel. So smoothies. My kids make them on their own and usually at least twice a day (breakfast and “dessert”)

I would like to try and use it to make homemade almond and coconut flour. It is too expensive to buy pre made. And this would hopefully help convince the rest of the family to move into the Paleo diet. That is once I can make some impressive paleo treats with this!

    banana
    strawberries
    blueberries
    raspberries
    blackberries
    honey
    coconut oil
    chia seeds
juice plus (non-essential, but I empty the powder out of the caplets!)
sometimes I add ice/water to loosen the consistency

I don’t put anything in by measuring. I just dump it all in, and we love it every time! 🙂

Since I’m moving into my own place in about a month, this would make transitioning into making all my own organic meals go so much smoother! I would obviously use it to make smoothies – kale and banana, or avocado and spinach. I would also like to make some creamy soups. But I think what I’d be really excited about making is almond milk! I’ve been wanting to for a while, but I have nothing to blend the almonds with. This would be wonderful!

It scares me to death the quality of food you buy in the stores and would like to start making more healthy and nutritious meals and this would make life a whole lot easier. I work two jobs and have not much time to eat so smoothies for me would help in my dine and dash sort of world. But mostly for my twop year old, I love him and want him to live a long healthy life, hes my world.

I would definitely make smoothies–we found out with my older daughter that she loved the chain smoothie places. I could put anything in there-wheatgrass, spinach, etc. But at home-it was a no go. I quickly realized it was the texture (she has some sensory sensitivities). And of course, for the adults-our friend makes margaritas and guac-so I think we would occasionally do that too 😉

It isn’t that I would just make one thing with the vitamix lots. As a person who has finished with their education I would use the vitamix many times throughout the day to help me be the most efficient time saving tool. Everything from making sauces, dips, batters, purees, doughs for paleo bread…….. It would make healthy food become a convenience. Why reach for stuff you can shove in the oven from a frozen packet when something like this can cut your cooking time down so radically?

If I was lucky enough to win I would make a lot of food with it, it would be my number one tool in the kitchen. I have a husband with texture sensitivity, even though he wants to like fruits and vegetables he can not handle them… to the point of gagging. Having this machine would allow me to use all the vegetables and fruits we want and need without having to pick them out for him at every meal, it would also allow me to feed my currently picky stage toddler to eat all of her food instead of picking things out (shes a good eater but has her days). I would make soups, stews, smoothies, juice, sauces, purees, nut butters, nut milk, dressings, paleo ice-cream and if it makes dough, well that too. 😀

I shared your site and am on my way to sharing everyone else’s. I just never win internet contests and I have wanted a Vitamix for years. I keep saving and then something happens like a medical bill or car repair. This would be so wonderful. My Bosch blender just doesn’t quite cut it when making smoothies.

Oh my goodness, I have been DYING for one of these for forever! I would seriously be your best friend forever if you picked me. 🙂 And I would make anything and everything I could in here, probably start with some honey cinnamon nut butter though.

I would make smoothies/popsicles for my kids, and use it for making a lot more of my staple items homemade!

Oh my god I can’t believe you guys are doing this!! This is such an AMAZING Give AWAY!!! I have been doing Paleo for the last few months and I would LOVE to make almond butter, paleo mayonnaise, soups, sauces, and breakfast shakes!!! I have a cheapo blender now and it NEVER works the way I want it too. This would change my life!!!!

I would make EVERYTHING in this if I had one. I have a PB&J smoothie in mind with peanut butter, strawberries, almond milk and protein powder. And I can think of 20 soups too. Wish I had one!

I would make all the things that burn out my poor old food processor: new nut+coconut butter fusions! Walnut/cashew,….coconut hazelnut chocolate……mmmmmm, and daily ‘green monster’ smoothies to help me get more veggies every day! Not to mention blender fudges and bars! Everything!!!
